Would you like to connect more with the changing of the seasons? Do you wish you had more rituals in your life? Join us for our Equinox Party on Tuesday, September 27th! We’ll have a seasonal tarot spread (that you can also use as journaling prompts if you don’t have a deck). You’ll get to hear us talk about our cards on a live call and then talk about your own cards and ask questions if you’d like. It’s included with your paid subscription to this Substack, or you can also just pay to attend the workshop. Find all the details here: Two Tarot Nerds Equinox Party

What we talked about this week
I’m experimenting with something new. I’ve got some journaling questions for you that are related to the things we talked about in this episode.
We both drew 5 of swords this week, and revisited the idea of winning a battle but losing the war. What fight are you trying to win, and at what cost? (For Joeli, it’s needing to please everyone; for Di it’s thinking that she has to do everything herself)
With 8 of swords, there’s a feeling of being trapped, or stuck. But you can look at it a different way—what if you’re keeping yourself safe? What might you be protecting yourself from?
We talked about balance and juggling with the 2 of pentacles. Where do you feel like things have to be a certain way in order to be fair or equal? How else could you look at it?
What thoughts or questions do you have about what we discussed this week? We’d love to hear from you!
