Listen: Two Tarot Nerds

Where else to find us: Two Tarot Nerds | Joeli | Di

Our questions & cards for this week

Joeli’s Cards

Joeli asked her new handmade deck for three uncomfortable truths that she should be looking at, and got: 3 of wands, the star, 2 of wands

Di’s Cards

What energy am I invited to work with this week? 5 of swords
What might get in my way this week? 5 of wands
What can support me this week? 6 of cups
Bonus (fell out while shuffling): 2 of pentacles

(L-R: all from The Light Seer’s Tarot)

What we talked about this week:

  • Getting back to routines that we’ve let slip—and not beating ourselves up about it, just tightening things up a bit

  • That our tarot practices are here to serve us (not the other way around), and how we’re not really relying on the card images anymore

  • How we haven’t really been getting to the roots of things, because if we were, we probably wouldn’t still be stuck

  • How our brains have gotten trickier as we’ve become more self-aware, and are finding new ways to keep us in self-doubt

Links to things we mentioned:

  • Rachael Stephen’s constellation system

  • Abby Wamback’s book Wolfpack

  • the Chani app

  • Tara Mohr’s Playing Big and the future self (aka inner mentor) exercise

What thoughts or questions do you have about what we discussed this week? We’d love to hear from you!
