Our questions & cards for this week

Joeli’s Cards

What energy is most present right now? queen of pentacles
What are the roots of that? 6 of swords
What could bloom out of this energy? 7 of swords

(all from Next World Tarot)

Di’s Cards

What energy am I invited to pay attention to & work with? the hermit
What might get in my way? 8 of cups
What can support me? 7 of cups

(all from This Might Hurt Tarot)

Journaling Questions

  • One of the things we talked about with queen of pentacles is having compassion for others in areas where you might not have compassion for yourself. Does that come up for you? In what areas?

  • Both of us had sequential cards this week (like 7 → 8 of cups). Some planning for the next step on the path can be good, but it isn’t always helpful to spend a lot of time thinking about a future that might not happen the way you expect (or at all). Where might that be getting in your way?

  • How do you feel about repeating cards? Does it feel like judgement when a card comes up over and over, or simply a reminder that you’re still learning, or something else?

What thoughts or questions do you have about what we discussed this week? We’d love to hear from you!
