For this episode we’re doing an introduction to us! We talk about how we got started with tarot, how our relationship with it has changed over time, and a bit about where we think it might go in the future.

Stuff we talk about:

  • How long ago we started with tarot & what prompted us to get our first decks (scroll down to see which ones we got!)

  • Keeping tarot to ourselves at first and then gradually started sharing more

  • Wanting rituals & symbols & cycles to work with after we were no longer a part of organized religion and how tarot became a part of that (with a bit of ranting about the Catholic church 😄)

  • The different parts of our identities (like gender, parenthood, age, educational background) that are important to us and how we see the world and tarot through them

  • Finding our own paths by being intentional & not just blindly following rules anymore

Our first tarot decks: The Wild Unknown Tarot (Di) and The Fountain Tarot (Joeli)

We hope you enjoyed getting to know more about us! If you have questions or want to chat about the things we talked about, comment on this post.

I have been using the Aquarian tarot deck since the 1980's and am looking forward to experiencing the ones you've mentioned. They seem different and fascinating to explore. Blessings ... Raena Avalon
